Dracula

A tomb that should hold a staked Count and doesn’t, and a blood moon on the way.

In short: Dracula is a 15+ gothic horror escape room at Escape This Northbridge for 4–10 players, playing since October 2020. Van Helsing in Melbourne continues its story; both are covered at escapedracula.com.au.

Dracula escape room poster

Dracula sits on two of Horrorscape’s shelves: supernatural, because the Count is undead, and classic monsters, because he arrived by way of a nineteenth-century novel. It needs at least four players.

Official site

Dracula has its own site with the full story, every rule and its leaderboard. Horrorscape keeps this page short on purpose: the live numbers, how it compares, and where to book.

Great fun! Our team tried Buried Alive (and said it was the best Escape room they’ve done) and Dracula. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to May who helped us in our rooms and made our experience extra fun.

Dracula: questions

Do you have to play Dracula before Van Helsing?

No. Escape This built them as separate rooms in separate cities, Dracula in Northbridge and Van Helsing on Collins Street in Melbourne, sharing one gothic story. Either works on its own; playing both simply gives you the Count’s side and then the hunter’s.
